Master's Update - November 2011

MASTER’S REPORT
16 November 2011

Overview

In the short period since the last Court meeting the pace of events has slowed down a little, helped by the Wardens and other members of the Company we have ensured the Company has been represented whenever possible at the events we deem to be important. The highlight of the period was the Annual Dinner held at the Mansion House, where we had an excellent evening with a good turnout, delicious food, entertainment and a top class after dinner speech from Mr Recorder Bromley Davenport, an old friend, who I knew wouldn’t knowingly disappoint!

Objectives – Progress to date

Five Year Plan: I drafted an overview, which was presented to the Master’s Advisory Group to seek their reaction, and am now awaiting feedback from them. I hope to complete the draft plan to present it to the Committee Chairs for their comment before Christmas with a view to then finalising it to present to the February Court Meeting.

Activities since the Last Court Meeting

Listed below are all the events I have been to and also those which I declined. In addition I am very grateful to the Wardens and others, who have attended events which I have not been able to attend and where we felt the Company required to be represented, these are also included.

I would also like to thank Tricia our Clerk for her excellent support to me as Master and for her tireless work on behalf of the Company.
